Tandem Bank today announces the appointment of Susie Aliker as Chief Executive Officer. The appointment is subject to regulatory approval. The board of Tandem has agreed with Ricky Knox, that he will step down as Chief Executive Officer and Director.

Since 2014 Tandem has grown its business and has a balance sheet of £600m. Tandem continues to develop its mission to provide banking for a greener future.

Pollen Street Capital has been working with the Board and management to create a banking platform which gives customers access to borrowing options that promote environmentally responsible home ownership and home improvement in the UK. 

Susie Aliker has extensive experience in the financial services industry, having spent more than 14 years at Credit Suisse and, most recently, 6 years at BACB plc. She was appointed as the CEO of BACB plc in 2018. Susie also brings experience outside of financial services, both in the retail sector and as co-founder of an insurance product incubator. Her broad experience encompasses strategy, business development, finance, operations and risk.
